October Activity

Daddy and I have been engaged in one of our favorite fall activities-getting firewood. We found a great place up in the Strawberry area of Buck Springs. We found some pretty big trees, just right for firewood. Yesterday we had a special helper. Ana met us at Day's parking lot and she joined in the fun. While Daddy was cutting down the trees, Ana and I were dragging them out with the truck and long chains. We had a pretty good system down, except we burned out the clutch of the old truck. Oops! Ana was a big help; however, I was pretty worn out by the end of the day. We didn't take our camera up with us yesterday, so I will just attach a picture of our load two weekends ago.

August Fun

We had such a great time with the family in August. We watched Eden and Owen for a few days. While they were with us, Amy, Sydney and Dante came for a visit. The cousins had a great time playing together. They were all so sweet and wonderful with each other (sometimes Owen growled a little when he wanted to cause some excitement). One of their favorite things to do was to play with Pricilla the Gorilla. Even though Pricilla is named Pricilla and is pink, Sydney felt very strongly that she was a boy. So, Pricilla is now a boy gorilla. I love this picture of Sydney, Eden, and Pricilla playing with Play-dough at the bar.

Hooray for the Holidays

The holiday season was full of family, good times, and good food! We were finally all together on New Year's Eve. We had a house full with Julio's family from California, Tony's family from Texas, Sara's family from Idaho, and Ana with her friend Eon. Daddy BBQ'd some steaks, shrimp, and chicken. We had a great time playing Eon's new game, Balderdash. Some of the kids got into the hot tub, or played up in the new toy room. We felt so blessed having our family together with us.

Eden and Owen's visit to Grandma's

While Sara and the kids were visiting Owen learned how to walk and Eden learned how to walk on stilts!

Scary Dinosaurs

When Sara and the kids came for a visit during the middle of October, we met Ana at Thanksgiving Point and went on a creepy tour of the dinosaur museum.

Paul Bunyan with his ax

Grandpa wielded a mean ax to the wood this fall. He cut, split, and stacked two sheds full. We will keep warm this winter now!
